Busy and Warm those are the words, different because now I have to deep up the yard and it is a quarter of an acre mostly Xera
scaped though. Last night we went to the fireworks here in St. George. This is the most magnificent fireworks I have ever seen. We were at Lynne Romneys' brothers house high on the D hill. There were 3 big shows going off simultaneously one on the old airport hill one on the Pioneer park hill and one at the Rodeo grounds. Totally unreal. We took the Sr. Missionaries with us. Included are some pictures of our new house.

Lots of Guests
Brighams' house today and it was 103 degrees and we had over 200 guests by the time our shift was over. Darolyne had a good day though she gave 2 Books of Mormons to 2 different ladies. Princess Jamie and the kids came over after our shift. Still getting used to this house. You know a move is the 3rd biggest reason for stress and anxiety. Hope I get over it soon.

Good Day
Today at Brighams' house I had 5 visitors from the midwest. One was black one latino and 3 whites. They were touring together. They were Unitarians and open to learn about the Church. They asked a lot of questions and at the end of the visit they wanted all the information they could get so I gave 4 Book of Mormons. I met an old friend at our ward today, Glen Martin, he was visiting St.George and was wearing a mask. He was trying to get a Liver transplant but instead he got Cancer in his liver before he could get a transplant. He has 4 months to live. So so sad. It breaks my heart, he was a great teacher and administrator.. I also had a couple from California who were Catholics and they were teachers on a trip to South Dakota. He had a great great that was a Mormon. Great tour a lot was taught and I hope I helped them out.

Hey It's Me again
It has been a while since I wrote. A lot of things going on. Elder Watkins had a knee replaced and hasn't done very well. Elder Leishman had an accident and crushed a vertebrae, Darolyne had to have shots in her back and I had cataract surgery. All of that in one week. We are the walking wounded. And Elder Bowcutt and Sister Bowcutt are going home in a week with no replacements in view. Besides all that we are buying a home and selling our home. We will close on both transactions next week if everything goes right. We had a p day today and were able to box up a lot of things. We hope KC, Joey and Jim's kids will come down here next Saturday to move us. On the missionary front we have been working except for the day I had surgery, which they did with a laser, quite the deal.. There are a lot of youth groups coming through the sites so we all have been very busy. Darolyne gave a Book of Mormon to a lady from Florida. Elder Clark who is buying our home told me when he walked in our house he had a dream about this house and he wanted to buy it. He thinks it is very providential that he is buying our house. So do I. We got our date of release it is October 8, 2014. Well I hope and pray that all goes well this week.

Quick Note
A Sunday morning at the Visitor Center I had over 120 visitors by noon. Team missionaries at the Center this morning had a lot of successes including giving a Book of Mormon to a lady from Iran and a lady from China. I had a long conversation with a man from Minnesota here to climb in the Canyons he had been out here before and had a Book of Mormon. He loves Utah says the people here are the nicest he has ever met. He wants to go back home and read the Book of Mormon. Our leader Elder Watkins is getting his knee replaced in the morning.
